Privacy Policy

For Steady (the “App”) · Effective date: 15 June 2026 · Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Leonid Lystopadov (“we”, “us”, the “Developer”), the developer of the Steady app, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. It also describes the rights you have over your data.

Steady is a personal habit-tracking app that helps you reduce your sugar intake and follow a structured 90-day plan. We designed it to collect only what we need to make the App work, sync your progress across your devices, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

If you have any questions, contact us at lyst.leonid@gmail.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller responsible for your personal data is Leonid Lystopadov, an individual developer, reachable at lyst.leonid@gmail.com. If you are in a region with data-protection laws (such as the EU/EEA, UK, or California), this Policy describes how we meet our obligations to you.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, all of which are linked to your account identifier:

Account & identity

Profile & onboarding answers (health & lifestyle)

Your activity in the App (health & fitness data)

Subscription & purchase information

Analytics & diagnostics

Notifications

What we do not collect: We do not access Apple Health/HealthKit, your precise location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone, or the device advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not use third-party advertising networks and do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How we use your information

4. Legal bases for processing (EU/EEA & UK)

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, we process your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR:

Because some onboarding answers and activity logs may reveal information about your health, we treat them with additional care and rely on your explicit consent to process them where required.

5. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers (“processors”) that help us run the App, and only as needed to provide their service to us:

RevenueCatSubscription management and validationrevenuecat.com/privacy

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. If we are ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred, and we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal data.

6. International data transfers

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the providers’ own approved transfer mechanisms.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and you use the App. When you delete your account, we delete your associated data from our systems as described below. We may retain limited information where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

8. Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App: open Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, your logs, your plan progress, and your account from our database, and signs you out on the device. Subscription records held by Apple are governed by Apple; your subscription identity in RevenueCat is unlinked when your account is removed.

You can also request deletion by emailing lyst.leonid@gmail.com. Note that deleting the App alone does not delete the data stored in your account; use the in-app option or contact us.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

To exercise any of these rights, email lyst.leonid@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact lyst.leonid@gmail.com.

10. Data security

We protect your data in transit using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and restrict access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information and rely on reputable infrastructure providers.

11. Children’s privacy

Steady is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
