Terms of Service

For Steady (the “App”) · Effective date: 15 June 2026 · Last updated: 15 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Leonid Lystopadov (“we”, “us”, the “Developer”), the developer of the Steady app. By downloading, accessing, or using Steady, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Steady is a personal habit-tracking app that helps you reduce your sugar intake through logging, a daily budget, streaks, and a structured 90-day plan with reminders and progress tracking. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Health disclaimer — please read. Steady is a wellness and self-tracking tool for general informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information and any figures, estimates, or outcomes shown in the App are general and may not apply to you. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, are under 18, or have diabetes, an eating disorder, or any other medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Steady. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

Steady uses Sign in with Apple to create and secure your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID associated with your account and for the activity that occurs under your account. You may permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account within the App.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

Some features of Steady require a paid auto-renewable subscription (“Steady Pro”). The following terms apply:

Billing through Apple. Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Apple ID and the App Store. The price and billing period are shown in the App before you purchase, in your local currency.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings (App Store → your account → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Restoring purchases. You can restore an existing subscription from the App.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms. We are generally unable to issue refunds directly.
Price changes. If we change subscription prices, the change applies to future billing periods, and Apple will notify you as required.

5. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Steady on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law;
use the App to break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or our service providers;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or another user’s account; or
resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App.

7. Your content and data

The data you enter (such as your logs, plan progress, and onboarding answers) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to operate and improve the App, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by the Developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted above, these Terms do not transfer any rights in the App to you.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result, estimate, or outcome it presents will be achieved. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 8–11) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

15. Apple App Store — additional terms

Because Steady is distributed through Apple’s App Store, the following terms apply between you and us, and you acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and the Developer only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use Steady on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Any support questions should be directed to lyst.leonid@gmail.com.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal requirement, and consumer-protection or privacy claims.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party’s intellectual-property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
